As the Covid-19 pandemic descended on South Africa & widespread lockdowns were enforced, Black Coffee sprang into action to host a series of Home Brewed live streaming sessions.
Each week he chose a different non profit NGO to fundraise on behalf of to extend help across multiple areas of need. Black Coffee raised over half a million rand to aid various organizations including the Solidarity Fund of SA, Save a Business, KFC Add Hope, Red Cross Society, CoronaCare for SA, Gift of the Givers & FoodForward SA.
Black Coffee was also part of the Global Citizen One World: Together At Home virtual relief concert held in support of the WHO's Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund & healthcare workers fighting the pandemic worldwide.
Together with Delilah Montague, he gave a special performance of chart topping hit song “Drive” created with David Guetta. The event went on to raise 127.9 million US dollars.
